Studio Terms and Conditions

By signing up for a membership or class pack you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Memberships and Class Packs

Any drop-in classes, class packs, courses and memberships purchased at the studio or online are non-refundable.

All offers, class packs and subscriptions activate on the date of your first booking.* Once the first class is booked you cannot book another class on a previous date. You can only book classes on dates that fall after your activation date.

*If you’ve purchased the Founder Membership, this activates upon purchase.

All courses purchased are non-refundable and non-transferrable and must be used for the term purchased.

All memberships are flexible, 1 month rolling contracts with a 30 day cancellation notice.** Any unused classes will be rolled over and valid for as long as your membership is active. Credits are non-transferrable or refundable. If your membership is terminated, you will lose all unused credits.

** All Founder Memberships are 6 month contracts, moving to monthly rolling contracts thereafter.

1 month’s notice must be given to hello@thelittleyogastudio.uk to cancel.
Please note if you email with less than 1 month’s notice you will be required to pay the next instalment before we are able to close your account.

All memberships can be paused twice per year, for a combined total of 4 weeks with no charge. If you wish to pause your membership more than twice, or for more than 4 weeks, in any 12 month period then you will incur a £25 freeze fee.

The Intro Offer is non-refundable and non-extendable. You have 14 consecutive days and once started it cannot be interrupted.

If at any point you would like to add to your class credits to your monthly allocation please email hello@thelittleyogastudio.uk and we can process that for you.

To downgrade your class allocation please give 1 month’s notice via email to hello@thelittleyogastudio.uk from the day of your contract renewal and this can be actioned.

Booking and waitlists

We strongly recommend that you book your class in advance as we have a limited number of spaces. If the class is fully booked you can join the waitlist. Please note, you will need to have a valid payment option to join.

If you are on the waitlist and a space opens up (due to a cancellation) and you are next in line, you will receive an auto-email notifying you that you have been added to the class register. This service is fully automated and can reach you at any time.

If you receive the notification email at short notice (less than 1 hour) and cannot attend the class please email us at hello@thelittleyogastudio.uk to let us know and we can credit the class back to your account.

Class cancellations

If you booked a class but can no longer attend, you must cancel the class.
The easiest way to cancel is via the Momence website or The Little Yoga Studio website. You can also cancel via email (hello@thelittleyogastudio.uk) but please be aware of our policy below.

In studio class cancellation policy is 12hrs for all in-person classes and 1 hour for online classes. If you do not cancel prior to this time, the credit(s) for this class will be deducted from your class pack, or your drop-in.

‘Early cancel’ (up to 12 hours before an in-person class or 1 hour before an online class) will put the class credit back on your account and you will be able to use it again in the future. If you ‘late cancel’ (i.e. after the 12 hour / 1 hour respectively cancellation period) no credit will be returned to your account.

Credit on account or refund will be provided if the class is cancelled by the studio.

Cancellations due to connection issues such as low Wi-Fi speed or a missing class invitation email cannot be refunded or credited back unless the issues occur at the studio.

This policy does not apply to courses or workshops booked.

Workshops

A refund will be issued for cancellations made more than 7 days before the start date of the event. A 10% admin fee will be deducted from the initial payment. We do not issue refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days unless a doctor has stated that you cannot attend the event and provided a note.

Studio credit or a full refund will be issued if: (a) A workshop is sold out and there is a waiting list. (b) The workshop is cancelled by the studio.

If you would like to transfer your reservation to another client, you should email us to update the records at least 48 hours before the event and make sure they sign the liability waiver.

The Little Yoga Studio reserves the right to cancel the event or workshop at any time. If the event or workshop is cancelled prior to the starting date, it may be rescheduled and if students cannot attend the new course or workshop, 100% refunds will be made, or the option of being transferred to another workshop or course of equal value.

The Little Yoga Studio is not responsible for any costs, such as transportation, accommodation or any additional loss.

Workshop prices will not be prorated if you are not able to attend all of the sessions.

The Studio reserves the right to cancel or change class styles or times. And also reserves the right to close for up to 2 weeks per year.

Studio Etiquette

Timekeeping

You must arrive on time for the session you have booked. We have 15 minutes between most classes to give you ample time to check-in, change and get settled.

If you have booked a class and do not arrive on time, you risk losing your space to someone on the waitlist or being locked out, as door close and lock promptly on time.

If you are late you will not be admitted regardless of whether it is full or not. You will not receive a refund.

In the practice area

Studio mats can be used free of charge, or you can bring your own mat. You must wipe-clean the studio mat or machinery after use. Spray bottles and wiping cloths are provided.

Lost & Found

All students are responsible for their own belongings. All items left behind will be stored in ‘Lost & Found’. Please contact reception if you think you might have left something at the studio. Items will be kept for one month and anything left unclaimed will be given to charity.
